FirstDates' Fred Sirieix addresses claims he's Pigeon on The MaskedSingerUK
The matchmaker and TV star, 50, appeared on Friday's Good Morning Britain to talk about his new show World Cook for Amazon Prime with Emma Willis.
However, chat soon turned to The Masked Singer UK as hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway grilled him about claims he could be Pigeon. The ITV show sees celebrities conceal their identities under a dramatic costume and give cryptic clues about their lives before singing on stage, where the judges and viewers have to guess who is behind the mask before a dramatic reveal.
Ben said: "There's all sorts of rumours that Pigeon is actually Fred Sirieix, there's a line when they describe Pigeon. They say: 'It must be dove, it's Pigeon!' "The suggestion is, because it's something to do with love, it could be you because you're a matchmaker! To which Fred replied: "Listen, I'm not going to confirm nor deny but suffice to say that I love pigeon, especially when it's cooked nice and pink. That's all I'm going to say!"During the opening episode of series four on Sunday, Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross retuned as show judges.
