Beating the level 95 Hanged Man to access the endgame of The First Descendant is no small task. While its first phase is effectively a DPS check, the second phase requires careful coordination to succeed. It’s not impossible with randoms but we recommend putting a team together for this fight. YouTuber Grind Hard Squad figured out how its phases work and managed to beat the boss successfully. Here’s how they did it.
At around 8:15, ask the team runner to grab the cube at the vial structure to delay this wipe. But this triggers the Hanged Man’s frenzied state. Once the boss is frenzied, it becomes immune to damage except when it opens its mouth to charge up a devastating 90-degree cone attack.
