Unite confirmed workers across a number of major bus depots in the Greater Glasgow area rejected a pay offer from First Bus. They will now be balloted for strike action.

Around 150 First Bus engineers will be balloted on strike action after workers rejected a pay offer from the company.

First Glasgow operates within Glasgow while First Glasgow operates in West Central Scotland. The workers involved in the ballot are based in the following bus depots: Blantyre, Caledonia, Dumbarton, Overtown and Scotstoun.
