Since the pandemic arrived in 2020, the University of the Philippines (UP) adapted to the situation and worked with a bit of modification for the UPCAT as it continued the tradition with precaution due to the threat of Covid 19 virus. | ManilaBulletin
But for this year, the old setup is about to kick off, as UP administers the UPCAT for the first time since 2020 on Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4.
The following are some reminders for the students as they take the first step of their college path at UP: read the instruction provided by the UP Office of Admission; know your testing hall in advance; prepare the things you should bring for the exam; condition yourself to be calm and focus; be early; no phones, cameras, nor calculating devices may be used; understand and follow instruction; and do not cheat.
Aside from the tips above, examinees were also advised to: read the instructions provided by the UP Office of Admissions; get their Test Permits from the UP Office of Admissions or the Office of the Registrars of the UP constituent universities; be on time and go to their designated Test Center on the date specified in your test permit; do not bring backpacks and large bags; and observe minimum public health standards at all times.
