When it first opened, it was claimed to the first jewellers of its kind in Glasgow
When William Moriconi, a former classical musician from Italy, first unveiled Moriconi in the St Enoch Centre, it was the city's first offering of authentic Italian jewellery.
Moriconi has since been a hit with customers and has been recognised in the industry, winning Best Independent Business a year after opening and Business of the Year at the Scottish Italian Awards in 2015. He said: “We are delighted to be celebrating 10 years in Glasgow and are so grateful to St. Enoch Centre – and all our Glasgow shoppers - for taking a chance on Moriconi all those years ago."It's the perfect chance to combine my two passions, Italian jewellery andThings have not always been plain sailing, with the covid pandemic putting significant pressure on local businesses, but Moriconi survived the strain by sustaining online sales.
