Jordan Moore was found dead in Lesmahagow on Sunday, June 2, at around 6.50pm.
A nine-year-old boy who died in an area of a Scots wood in Lanarkshire on Sunday has been named as Jordan Moore.
Police confirmed on Wednesday that the boy was nine-year-old Jordan Moore, a pupil at Woodpark Primary School. Detective Inspector Vicki Douglas said: “Our thoughts are with Jordan’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. She said: “We are all deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic death of Jordan, who was a valued member of our school community.
Tributes have also flooded in online following the tragic news, Stacey Mcfarlane said: "So so tragic sleep tight wee man thinking of all the family"Sha Ron also wrote: "Absolutely heartbreaking. Sincere condolences to this young boys family at this very difficult time."
