A family in Glasgow welcomed what could well be Scotland’s first Christmas Day tot this year, after arriving into the world at 12.39am.
A new mum in Aberdeen is celebrating today after receiving the best gift she could have ever hoped for. Margaret Wilson, 34, welcomed a very special delivery during the small hours of Christmas morning. At 4.32am, little Alex was born in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, weighing 2.32kg .
Elizabeth and Alex, both from Kirkcaldy, shared the exciting moment with staff as they posed with Alexandru after becoming proud parents on a day they'll never forget. On the same ward Hanna Esslenent gave birth to another little baby just hours later. Sonny arrived weighing in at 4.044kg at 4.28am to the delight of his mother and proud dad Scott, who were welcoming their second child into the world.
