Donald Trump may be projecting confidence about the coronavirus crisis, but privately the president is said to be “spooked” by news that two White House workers tested positive for Covid-19, including a valet who sometimes serves him food. Dr Anthony Fauci is one of three top health officials to have entered two weeks of self-imposed quarantine, while Mike Pence is physically distancing from his West Wing co-workers after his press spokeswoman, Katie Miller, tested positive.
