A woman has given birth to a baby boy after becoming the first person in the world to get pregnant after a womb transplant performed by a robot.The woman and her miracle baby’s names have not been released.
An embryo was created using fertility treatment and implanted into her uterus ten months after the transplant.Mum and baby suffered no complications during the birth, which was a planned caesarean delivery. ‘For the first time, we’re showing that the less invasive robot-assisted surgical technique is practicable.’
