UK parents warned as Fisher-Price recalls Rock ‘n Play sleepers after deaths of 30 babies
FISHER-Price has recalled nearly five million infant sleepers after more than 30 babies died in them over the past 10 years.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission said anyone who bought a Fisher-Price Rock 'n Play sleeper should stop using it right away and get a refund or voucher.Fisher-Price has recalled nearly 5 million Rock 'n Play sleepers over safety fears This warning also applies to the UK as the seats are sold in Britain and are available in a number of designs.Fisher-Price and the CPSC said the deaths occurred after babies rolled over from their backs to their stomachs or sides while unrestrained, but did not specify how they died.A safety warning was issued last week, but The American Academy of Pediatrics urged Fisher-Price and the CPSC to recall the sleepers, calling them "deadly.
