Walker said he and his friend Pop, the co-owner, purchased the Victorian-era three-bedroom house atfeaturing a Georgian-style facade, north-facing rear courtyard garden, open fireplaces and high ceilings because of its creative character.
“Upstairs has a mural on a bedroom floor, it looks really cool. It still has the original staircase, you can really feel the history.”Red walls, a green view and a map on the wall combine for a creative vibe.The previous owners installed “beautiful” antique hydronic heating which has the added bonus of making energy bills “cost next to nothing”.
Jellis Craig Fitzroy partner Antony Woodley described the property as “a classic very early Victorian cottage” likely to have been built in the 1860s.
