High street retailers such as Sainsbury's, ASOS and New Look are selling cheaper alternatives to Hermes' iconic Oran sandals.
However, the Oran sandals are priced at £610, which is too steep a price tag for many. For those unable to spend this much on their summer sandals, high street retailers have launched similar options without the high cost. Below, we've taken a look at some of the options on sale right now. Among the reviews, one shopper said: "Great sandals. Very pretty." However, another wrote: "Quite a tight fitting. I bought a size 5 and I am a size 5 they are quite tight and lowdown on the front of the foot for walking in without slipping out of the shoe."Matalan's Black Wide Fit Mule Sandals - £9.50 The sandals feature a similar crossover front to the Hermes version, though it is slightly different.
The product description reads: "Sun shining? Slip into these tan leather-look sliders, then just add your fave warm-weather dress." However, another added: "I bought a very similar pair to this last year so thought they’d be great, nope! They cut my foot & took the skin off my toe. The front of the strap is sharp."ASOS Dune London wide fit loopy slip-on flat sandals - £35 The Dune London sandals are stocked at ASOS, featuring the same slip-on style, peep toe and flat sole as the Hermes version. They also have an almost identical crossover front but are faux leather, unlike the Hermes shoes.
