Since 2020, it has required permit holders to plant 1,000 trees or mangroves as part of its commitment to minimize its environmental impact, which aligns with the Climate Change Act and the “Lingap at Alagang Bayanihan” project. The PPA seeks partnerships with various organizations to ensure environmental protection and continued port development, demonstrating its dedication to sustainability.
