A new promotion allows Scots to enjoy £2 pints at pubs across the country — and there is a fine selection in central Edinburgh that would make for a particularly fascinating pub crawl.
Brewing behemoth Greene King, known as Belhaven in Scotland, has stirred up a wave of excitement after announcing punters can enjoy cheap pints at venues around the country. From now until September 18, the pub chain will be serving up £2 drinks across Scotland.

Focusing on the capital's city centre, all you need is a tenner for a one-of-a-kind pub crawl.The World's End, 2-8 High Street Kick off at this historic watering hole on the Royal Mile, which was once part of the Flodden Wall — a 16th-century fortification that protected the city's Old Town.
Milne's Bar, 35 Hanover Street Just off Princes Street, you will come across Milne's Bar at the junction of Rose Street and Hanover Street. Once a hotspot for poets back in the 50s — famously frequented by the likes of Hugh MacDiarmid, Sorley MacLean, and Norman MacCaig — Milne's was such a nucleus of political debate and poetic passion that it became known as the "Little Kremlin".
