In a thrilling turn for women's sports, the WNBA is witnessing a remarkable 93% increase in ticket sales, ignited by the arrival of fresh talents such as Kaitlyn Clark, the first overall pick, Angel Reese, and other notable players.
DAVID MUNDEE Five Wiregrass high school tennis players, including four from schools in Dothan, and one area coach have been selected to participate in the AHSAA North-South All-Star tennis matches in Montgomery in July.
Of the five local players chosen, three are girls and two are boys. All were selected to play for the South team, which will play against all-stars from the North. The area boys players tabbed for the all-star event are Enterprise’s Tripp Rascoe and Houston Academy’s Jason Mun.
