If you want to ensure your daffodils bloom brilliantly next spring then follow the instructions of this five-minute task and watch them grow.
A five-minute task is all that's needed to ensure your daffodils flourish next spring, according to gardening experts.
Tom said that the best way to make sure you get more daffodils in 2025 is to mow around the flowers in your grass and not cut them back. The expert said: "Do not cut back the foliage or at least wait until it is completely brown and dry. Once the flower has wilted then you can cut off the heads in order to ensure you will get a beautiful daffodil display next spring. Tom said: "After the flower dies, seeds begin to form which requires energy from the bulb. If you remove the seed heads, more energy is stored in the bulb, which encourages bigger, better and usually more numerous flowers."
