Scott Robinson has since removed the tweet
Five singer Scott Robinson took to social media following a blunder in a tribute paid to his friend and fellow popstar Paul Cattermole in the wake of the S Club 7 star's tragic death on Friday. The band issued a heartbreaking statement on Friday confirming the tragic news.
In a separate statement announcing his death, Paul's family and S Club 7 said: "It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole. Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.
On Friday night Scott, who joined the pop band Five in 1997, tweeted the tribute: "Such sad news today at the passing of Paul of @SClub7. We wish all close to him the very best. See you in the great concert in the sky some day Paul. RIP. Love Five." But it was noticed by fellow Twitter users that it was posted with the words "Scott, stick this up with a picture."
