The UK is set to be hit by snow as early as this weekend, with three major cities at risk, according to Met Office maps, as cold air is set to sweep in from the north
The UK is bracing for a snowy weekend as forecasters warn of plummeting temperatures. Weather maps from WX Charts, with Met Desk data, illustrate the dip as we journey further into November and approach December and the festive season.
Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Manchester, Leeds, and Newcastle could all see snowfall. Met Office expert Alex Deakin mentioned: "Cold air will be flooding its way south over Saturday night. By the time we get to the early hours of Sunday morning, much of Scotland will be covered in freezing levels where ground is only at 400m."
