Emergency services rushed to an address in the Townhead area of Glasgow shortly before 9am on Monday after reports of a baby unwell. The five-week-old boy was transported to hospital but sadly died a short time later. Police are currently treating the death as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
A five-week-old baby boy has died suddenly in Glasgow . Emergency services raced to an address in the Townhead area of the city shortly before 9am on Monday.Locals said police descended on the high-rise flat on St Mungo Place and have been knocking doors in the area.
One said: "There's CID here as well as uniform talking to neighbours. The mum has two other kids. It's a shame. He was a cute wee boy."A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45am on Monday, October 7, 2024, officers were made aware of a baby having taken unwell in the St Mungo Place area of Glasgow.
