Ridgewood won, 26-0.There were 111 teams across New Jersey this spring with more expected next season. The skills of the players and coaches improved with experience and understanding of the rules and nuances of the girls game.
Ridgewood, led by a hard-working senior class, was the “state champion” in the North. Kingsway charged to the South championship. Hunterdon Central won the Big Central, Harrison the NJIC and Rumson-Fair Haven repeated as queens in the Shore Conference. Looking ahead, 2025 will likely be a season of change as New Jersey prepares for 2026 when flag football is expected to become a sanctioned high school sport with its direction taken over by the NJSIAA.
