Shocking images show flames ripping through a house in Paisley tonight as fire crews race to tackle the blaze.
Images posted on social media show an aggressive fire spreading at the rear end of the house. In video footage filmed around 7pm, fire crews can be seen trying to extinguish the blaze and windows can also be heard smashing as flames burst through. "Black smoke was covering the sky, hovering over St Mirren stadium - I could smell burning, it was very visible. I don't know if it was an abandoned house but there were around three fire appliances - it is quite an intense fire, there is no way that house isn't gutted now."
