A fire in a flat building in Aberdeen, Scotland, left seven people injured. Emergency services responded to the scene at Aulton Court on Monday evening, finding a blaze on the 12th floor. One person was taken to the hospital, while six others received treatment at the scene. Police Scotland is investigating the fire as deliberate.
Emergency services raced to Aulton Court in the Granite City at around 8pm on Monday, January 20, after reports of a blaze. The fire is believed to have broken out on the landing of the 12th floor in the 19-floor tower block, prompting an evacuation.
Seven people were passed to the care of the ambulance service, while one person was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a result of the blaze. “Emergency services attended, and the fire was extinguished. One person was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
