Football Insider has been told by sources that Karl Robinson is the frontrunner to take over at Fleetwood Town after Scott Brown was sacked.

Brown took charge of Fleetwood in May 2022, shortly after leaving Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen where he was deployed in a player-coach role.Brown also oversaw Fleetwood’s historic FA Cup run which saw the third division side go all the way to the fifth round for the first time ever.A 90th minute goal from Burnley ended the clubs’ hopes of progressing any further in the competition.
