Flight attendants say they'd overlook people wearing certain clothing
Everyone dreams of getting a free upgrade on their flight, and, according to flight attendants, there are certain things you can do to increase your chances. However, there are also behaviours that should be avoided, not only because they could upset the crew, but also due to hygiene concerns, reports the Express.
Munoz also mentioned that he wouldn't upgrade anyone dressed "too casual" with shorts or flip flops. But it's not just about attire, passenger behaviour also plays a role."I also wouldn't upgrade smelly people or drunk passengers, or passengers who give me the impression that they are going to cause trouble," he added.
According to him, donning business attire could boost your chances as flight attendants might perceive you as a successful business person. On the contrary, shorts or mini skirts are items that many flight attendants would never consider wearing while flying.
