FLIGHTS have been scarce in recent months with airlines grounding their aircrafts in accordance with travel restrictions imposed by the UK Government. But now, a top scientific adviser to the Government has revealed that hundreds of people could have entered the UK through airports while infected with the coronavirus.
Of these 95,000, 53,000 were UK citizens.He responded:"We believe that less than 0.5 percent of those people arriving potentially had COVID-19.”This amounts to 475 people out of that 95,000.
