The suspect, who checked into the HI New York City Hostel with a fake New Jersey driver's license and paid in cash, was seen walking along West 55th Street on the morning of the shooting.
He arrived in the city on a Greyhound bus from Atlanta on November 24, moved around the city, and was last seen leaving the hostel on November 29. He returned on November 30
