Flood threat in effect until 4pm Thursday
– The rain, for the most part, has died out for the day. But a new round of strong storms arrives overnight into Thursday morning.Our overall weather pattern hasn’t changed much from the previous days. There will be a few cities capable of getting 2″-4″ of rain an hour and that will cause flooding. The focus to Thursday’s storms appears to be from Houston to the coast.
Storms and rain continue to pour from I-10 on south.Showers make for a soggy afternoon, remembers there could still be heavy downpours embedded. There will be a tendency for the rain to shift northeast throughout the day.Rain becoming less active through the evening.There is no tropical activity in the Gulf, Caribbean or Atlantic Ocean. The tropics should become active again during the first week of August.We stay in this active storm pattern through the week.
