The major road where married couple Elaine and Philip Marco died is shut again

A key south Liverpool that was closed after flooding on Tuesday night will remain shut to motorists after suffering damage.

This included new barriers, cameras and flood sensors, with motorists warned to avoid the area during bad weather and the barriers able to stop drivers travelling through. But the bad weather has caused damage to the area of Queens Drive - which lies under a railway bridge - and it remains closed.
