A young man who died in a bus crash has been named locally. Emergency services were called to an incident on the A6011, near Gamston Lock, after a collision involving a Trentbarton bus and a pedestrian on the evening of Wednesday, January 17.
A further tribute on a funeral notice website said: "No words can capture the legend that was Johnny Baker. He was a beautiful soul, outstandingly handsome, cheeky, hilariously funny and with a brilliant intelligent, inquisitive and complex mind. Investigator Louise Melbourne, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends during what must be an incredibly difficult time for them.
