The Oppenheimer star, 27, has been inspired to set up her own group of researchers after becoming an ambassador for Scots F1 legend Sir Jackie Stewart’s global charity, Race Against Dementia.
“With those numbers, it’s crazy we don’t have a cure. But together we can make a difference and fast-track a cure for dementia.” In a rallying call for funds she added: “People can donate and help these amazing people figure out a way to stop this horrible disease. “The research teams will work on different areas of dementia – what is causing it, how to prevent it, what can help and drugs that can be taken.
