However, recent polls have shown President Joe Biden is now narrowing the gap between him and his Republican challenger.
''Democrats made history in Florida today,' said Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried in a press release. 'This is unprecedented. Since control of Florida flipped in the mid-90s, no party has contested every seat in both chambers of the legislature. For the first time in at least 30 years, Florida Democrats are contesting every congressional and legislative race in Florida.
