Florida Residents Rip Aileen Cannon: 'Judged by History'

The judge has faced an immense amount of backlash for indefinitely delaying the start of former President Trump's classified documents trial.

A handful of Florida residents have attacked U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon for delaying the start of former President Donald Trump's classified documents trial in Florida, as one said Cannon 'will be judged by history and it won't be pretty.

'Her remote Fort Pierce doesn't usually deal with criminal cases involving federal documents. She should be recused from this case and replaced with a more experienced federal judge from a larger South Florida judicial district.'Newsweek sent an email to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Tuesday evening seeking comment from Cannon.
