A hospital employee, requesting anonymity, told the ECHO that earlier this month, several dead rats were found in a ceiling space, and for the past three weeks, the hospital has been battling a significant fly infestation. The employee described flies swarming the operating room lights and flying freely throughout the building. They alleged that the hospital's attempts to address the rat problem with poison have inadvertently resulted in a massive fly infestation that persists despite ongoing efforts.
