The Colorado Buffaloes' videoboard will go from one of the smallest in the Power 5 conferences to above the national average.BOULDER, Colo. — The Colorado Buffaloes are getting a new football stadium videoboard, a year after selling out every home game forat Folsom Field began in January on the University of Colorado campus and is expected to be finished for CU’s season opener on Thursday, Aug. 29, against North Dakota State.
CU said the majority of the approximately $15 million project will go into the steel infrastructure to support the video board, which includes four columns running from the bottom of the video board to the ground around the south side of the stadium. This is the second time CU has sold out of season tickets before August of an upcoming season. The first time was last year.
