A Northern Irish taxi firm have issued a fresh statement after they 'terminated their relationship' with a taxi driver who appeared to hold a passenger at gun point in a video which has been shared on social media.
"fonaCAB has been liaising with the Driver & Vehicle Agency Northern Ireland and the P.S.N.I, and any further action will be determined by them. Our investigation was completed and our action taken before the footage was released on social media. "We average 100,000 bookings per week, and we do everything we can to ensure that each of those customers is given the same high level of professional service.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are aware of a video circulating online showing a man with a suspected firearm and have launched an investigation.
