The Foo Fighters will reportedly be performing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury after weeks of heavy rumours. According to The Daily Mail, they will be performing at 6.10 pm on Friday, the slot that was held for an act under the alias The Churnups.
‘The fact that David has got involved shows just how special this gig will be. It is amazing,’ a source told the publication.
If the Foo Fighters do perform at Glastonbury 2023, their set will come over a year after the death of the band’s drummer Taylor Hawkins, whoIn May this year, the group announced that acclaimed musician Josh Freese had taken over the drums, having played for other bands in the past including Guns N’ Roses, Nine Inch Nails and Weezer.Metro.co.uk has contacted representatives of the Foo Fighters and Glastonbury Musical Festival for comment.
