The water supply to around 100,000 properties in Glasgow has been impacted by a burst water main that tore through a road in Milngavie.
The water can be seen flowing as fast as a river and crashing against the pushed-up chunks of tarmac while firefighters look on.Surrounding streets have been left submerged as Scottish Water teams attempt to repair the main and restore supplies. Police are on the scene assisting with road closures while firefighters carry out a "water rescue incident" with two fire engines and two water rescue resources dispatched.
