A local councillor has spoken out after social media footage circulated over the weekend showing youths engaged in violence. by a group of youths aged around 17. A bin is also thrown several times at the carriages while later images showed a bloodied man standing on the platform.Sources said the trouble caused severe delays to the Translink rail network throughout Saturday evening.
Causeway Coast and Glens Councillor Darryl Wilson said in a statement posted on Facebook: "I am beyond horrified I have just seen recorded at Ballymoney Train Station earlier."This has gone on far too long and happened too many times now. "After seeing this gruesome assault. I could easily be commenting on a fatality this evening.
