Rossendale football club legends and civic pride stalwarts honoured by council

Stalwarts of Rossendale civic pride groups and a local football club manager with 25 years of service have been honoured by the borough council.

She added: “We had a theme of ‘teazels, trains and textiles’ for our flower displays this year, which celebrated the heritage of Rawtenstall. There is so much out there to highlight. “I also want to thank the people of Bacup for their support for our work, for the Flower Pot Festival and also their help when times have been tough, such as with issues of anti-social behaviour. People’s support has been great.”
