Spanish holidaymakers have been warned to not make the mistake - or risk a hefty fine
Spanish tourists have been warned that if they are heading abroad soon and will need to use a taxi, there's one common mistake they'll want to avoid.
Because of this, those requiring taxi services in Spain should pre-book rather than hail a taxi on the spot. This applies to anyone whether you need a taxi to and from the airport, or around the area you're staying. "Passengers caught using unlicensed taxi services are liable for fines of up to 600 Euros. Make sure you book your taxi or airport transfer through a licensed firm."
