A 45-year old foreman who was resting in a bamboo chair was shot in the head by an unidentified assailant on Monday evening, Nov. 28, at Sitio Ibaba in Barangay Cabay in this town.
TIAONG, Quezon – Aside from a gunshot wound in the head, the victim also sustained another shot in his left arm.
Based on the statement of the victim’s daughter Renalie to the police, around 6:40 p.m. his father was resting in a bamboo chair when the suspect arrived and without questions shot several times.Police responded to the crime scene and recovered 10 fired cartridge cases for caliber .9mm and one empty shell of caliber .45 pistols.
Probers are still conducting an investigation to determine the motives of the killing, and the suspect.
