The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as the Reds have been linked with a move for two Argentina internationals as they look to strengthen their squad.
Nottingham Forest are in ‘advanced negotiations’ to sign Sevilla and Argentina right-back Gonzalo Montiel, with a deal for Argentina teammate Nicolas Dominguez also ‘close’, according to reports in their home land.
Cesar Luis Merlo of Argentinian outlet TycSports now claims that Forest are closing in on their fourth and fifth signings of the summer. It is claimed that there are ‘advanced negotiations' for Montiel, who is keen to leave Sevilla this summer in search of more minutes. The full-back was part of the successful Argentina World Cup squad, playing half an hour of the final against France. He made a total of four appearances in the tournament as Argentina lifted the trophy, and in fact scored the decisive penalty in the shootout to earn his nation the trophy.
