One thing on the minds of many Modern Warfare 2 players at the moment are what new game modes Infinity Ward could be cooking up for Season 2 of the popular shooter.

Many posters were in agreement, calling it their ‘favourite game mode’ and likening it to the ever-popular Gun Game as their mode of choice.“But any other game mode I get bored instantly. I really hope it comes back, it’s my personal favourite game mode.” For those unfamiliar, Infected mode is an elimination style mode where one player is chosen at random to be given extra speed and a one hit kill melee weapon.That person is the Infected – and it’s their job to spread the infection by killing the ‘Survivor’ players – who have normal weapons to try and stop them.
However, every time a survivor is taken out, they return as another Infected. The aim is for either the Infected to wipe out the Survivors, or for the Survivors to survive the time limit. Often, the mode makes an appearance during Halloween related events – although it was last seen as an addition to
