Park Crossing’s Malik Cunningham is concentrating on a new spot during his second pro campaign.

But Cunningham’s current team is all in on the quarterback turning into a wide receiver. Cunningham is among the 12 players listed as a wide receiver on the. “He wants to find any way he can to get out on the field, and if it’s at receiver, it’s at quarterback, it’s at running back, D-line, he’s out there trying to get it done.
Cunningham spent most of the 2023 season on New England’s practice squad. The Patriots elevated Cunningham to active status for two games and had him on their 53- player roster for two more. He played in one game for New England, getting six snaps in a 21-17 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Oct. 15. He ran three pass routes and took two snaps. Cunningham wasn’t targeted as a receiver, didn’t have a pass or a rushing attempt, but was sacked once.
