Carosone’s move to Campbell comes just 11 days after Troy softball announced her addition as associate head coach.
After recently being named the associate head coach at Troy University, former Auburn softball standout and assistant coach Emily Carosone is on the move again.
Carosone spent the past four years as an assistant coach at her alma mater under former Auburn softball coach Mickey Dean, who retired at the conclusion of the 2024 softball season. Playing for the Tigers from 2013-16, Carosone helped Auburn to a pair of SEC Tournament titles and back-to-back appearances in the Women’s College World Series.
A three-time all-American honoree, Carosone also competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with Team Italy, in addition to playing four seasons of professional softball.
