Work is under way to transform a vacant Sherwood property into a second shop for The Bagel Project. The bagel supremos opened in Nottingham in May 2023 and almost a year later are ready to expand.
They said: "Site number two. We'll be opening another Bagel Project in Nottingham very soon, over the next few weeks we’ll be updating you on the fit-out works! Any guesses where this might be?"The Gaztronome responded: "The old Bakehouse/Honest bakery/Third time lucky." The Atrium Bar & Kitchen commented: "Sherwood, the best place to be."
. When it closed, it wasn't long before the Good Honest Bakery set up shop and once again delicious focaccia, sourdough, pecan buns and Bakewell tarts were prepared on-site. The bakery and cafe closed down for good over Christmas 2023, blaming rising costs.
