Michael Carey, a former presenter for BBC Radio Derby, has died at the age of 87 after being rescued from a river.
On Saturday morning, Carey was rescued from the River Derwent in Darley Abbey Mills, Derbyshire Police said.Carey was from the local area, with police issuing an appeal for any information that members of the public may have who were in the area.Check back shortly for further updates.
