Shadow Employment Minister Michaelia Cash claims the “polices put in place” by the former Coalition government have “caused” the historically low unemployment rate of 3.5 per cent which will “increase” under Labor.

She said employers feel “uncertainty” in the industrial relations environment and believed there would be an “impact” on their ability to create jobs. “So again, the former coalition government’s policies – that’s what you’re still seeing the employment market react to.”
