A former Elmore County sheriff’s deputy now faces sentencing over a civil rights violation, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. -
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 24. The announcement says Hicks faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
