A former school janitor who had just two weeks to live is holding a Lungiversary celebration one year on from a life-saving operation.
Henry has been given a new lease of life and, to celebrate as well as recognising the loss his donor’s family will be feeling, he and wife Pauline, 59, are hosting a Lungiversary celebration to raise money for Freeman's Heart and Lung Transplant Hospital. Both Pauline and Henry are hopeful that the family of his donor will make contact with them after writing a letter to them.
